Canon LTM 25/3.5 with caps (front rather not genuine - should it be with canon engraved or stamped?; back I suspect machined on lathe) and original stinky case. I've probably overpaid but still happy.

That`s a fine togogon lens, very compact with decent IQ. I will probably never part with mine. What serial do you have?

My last buy was the "Japanese Summilux" Canon 50mm f/1.4 LTM

Full set of Aires 35-V lenses: 35/3.2, 45/1.5, and 100/3.5. (With the camera, too.)

The year is done, so I can confidently say I will buy no more this year with only 21 minutes remaining. Last lens was a Helios 44-2, how boring. But days before that a Meyer 3.5/180 Primotar and days before that two Topcors; 3.5/20 and 1.4/58. In total, only six all year.

I just bought a Meyer Lydith 30/3.5, which I am eagerly awaiting!

I sneaked in one last lens on New Year's Eve, and it arrived yesterday.
A Konica Hexanon AR 135mm f/3.2 AE, in pristine condition. Very happy! Previously tried to buy an older EE, which turned out to have a broken aperture, and was refunded. Now must wait for good weather to test it out.

What's the difference between AE and EE (in terms of quality, etc).

Just before Christmas i found the first, heavy (brass!) version of the Minolta MC 2.8/24mm. It's No 26 on Dennis Lohmanns Minolta lens list: http://minolta.eazypix.de/lenses/.

It focuses much smoother than the later aluminium versions, and it seems to have a slight yellowish cast, which the later MC/MD-I versions don't have. I don't know yet if this early version has the same performance as the later MC-X/MD-I/MD-II models .The MD-III, however, is different for sure.

Well, I sure didn't get far into the year and I'm up to my old ways again. Five days in and seven more lenses. I just bought a Nikon lot from someone local. Don't even know all I have yet. Here's the lens part...
1. Nikkor-C zoom lens 80mm-200mm (eh)
2. Soligor 28mm lens (eh)
3. Nikkor -- S.C. 1.4/50mm lens
4. Tele-Lentar 400mm lens (maybe eh)
5. Nikkor-S 35mm lens
6. Nikkor 1.8/85
7. Tessar 3.5/50 (broken blades)

OK, very silly purchase I'd imagine, but I just found Cy fit 500/8 Mirotar in very good shape for a price that, while not a bargain exactly is notably lower than the best eBay price I've seen.

Finally, a pic of my latest purchase. I am thinking of removing the lens and use it on my Sony NEX.

My latest purchase was a Porst 55mm f1.4. The most I've paid for an older lens and the most disappointing !

All good things come to those who wait.

RE Auto Topcor 85mm 1.8 in time for Christmas and just before that a Steinheil Munchen Tele Quinar VL 135mm 2.8.

That`s the portraits sorted for 2016!

1) Konica AR Macro stuff including the incredibly sturdy built bellows, and the Hexanon 4/105mm Macro. The lens is a three lens / five element Dynar (https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heliar) construction, like almost all contemporary 4/100mm Macro lenses*. Included were also the AR 1.8/52mm, the AR 1.4/57mm and the AR 1.8/50mm lenses.

2) Sigma 8/600mm and 13.5/1000mm mirror lenses (i found them on the same day, but at different places). Both of them are never really sharp (compared to the Minolta MD 8/500mm, or - even better - the second generation Nikkor 8/500mm which is really sharp)

* The Canon new FD 4/100, Micro Nikkor 4/105, Pentax 4/100mm, Konica Hexanon 4/105mm and probably a few others share all the same basic optical construction. Concerning this interesting fact I heard an interesting story from an eye-witness (a well known Swiss photographer): Around 1980 he was invited to visit one of the Japanese third-party lens manufacturers (a very well known brand which still exists). When they were shown the factory, he saw that the 100mm Macro lenses for nearly all Japanese brands (including Canon and Nikon) were produced here, side by side, and by the same craftsmen/women. He told me that they were producing them in batches: A few days Nikon, the next few days Pentax, then Canon, and so on.

Yesterday - Tamron 70-220 / f3,8, on flea market for $17. Excellent condition.

105/2.5 Nikkor AI. So far it definitely lives up to its reputation.

My first acquisition this year: Minolta MD (III) 50mm/F2.
A really excellent lens.

Tamron ad-1 135/2.8, 6 euros, really nice!

Vivitar 17mm f3.5: good optically except flare, mechanical construction not as good as Minolta Rokkor but better than Canon nFD. (57£ with freight)

Elicar 300mm 5.6 mirror (250 mm Rokkor too expensive but had more contrast). Light, compact, decent mechanical construction, difficult to focus a 300 mm with a digital camera (A6000) with EVF. The Rokkor 250mm of the poor... but provides the Paparazzi factor and fun bokeh. Much lighter than Minolta 500 mm f8. (90£ with freight)

Was offered a Rokkor 45mm f2.0 by the seller from whom I purchased. This very light and compact lens very much appreciated

Tamron Adaptall-2 SP 28-80mm f/3.5-4.2 (27A) and Konica Macro-Hexanon AR 55mm f3.5

SMC Pentax K 20mm f.4 in very good condition, boxed with case and caps. A real bargain

Meyer Görlitz Primotar E 50mm 3.5 (M42) intrigued me; couldn't let it pass.
Nice old piece of aluminium Rolling Eyes
As a rearcap a stuck Praktica EE2, never mind.

Panagor 21/4. Beautiful piece of metal and glass, and somewhat rare.

Canon Serenar 28mm f3.5 ltm. I like it very much. It has the same kind of rendition as my Leica 50mm Summicron collapsible.

Sorry for the late reply...didn't see the question.

No difference between the two for the 135mm f/3.2. AE name change over came with the later production.
Unlike some of the other Hexanons, which had different formulas and bodies.
