M42 9 blades Silver Carl Zeiss jena Flecktogon 1Q 2.8/35 from 1956

for no other reason that they were beautiful objects......

Of course they made a few more than needed for that mission.
I got two of them once... one left luckily enough!

Is that a 41mm with a T stop of 2.5?

What was it's intended purpose?
