Very nice lens indeed ? Is this your aaa lens ? You have so many excellent ones, I wouldn't think before any ISCO lens can be this good. _________________ -------------------------------

I have another China made 2000mm F7 real missle tracking lens that weighs about 30 kgs, and was mounted on an automatic tracking device. The device then was installed on a vehicle.
I think I can read a newspaper with this 2000/7 lens 2-300 meters away with a 10X eyepiece. |

Bruce, Here is a new image. I added a little decoration to make it a L class luxury lens.
I knew a Mr. Bruce some 20 years ago in Detroit. He showed me a few camera shops there. I was too young to appreciate those gears.

Hi,
I googled 'missile tracking lens', and found this image. The lens looks very similar. I think it takes good airplane images.

It is very hard to pick top AAA lens. Let me write this way: I have several top lenses. There is nothing to compare 1.2/55 Tomioka with 2.8/300 Tamron SP.
Of course "top" this is my choice and everybody else can disagree with me.
I have few or maybe several top lenses. One of them is hardly damaged Sonnar 2.8/180 for Pentacon six which I can fit to my Pentax K10D using adapter P6/PK. This lens - old and ugly zebra, with some drilled wholes (I have no idea why) with jammed wide open aperture is one of my sharpest lenses - wide open. More - it is sharper then other Sonnars including 3.5/135, 4.0/135, 2.8/180, 2.8/200
Below samples from my Sonnar -show me the better 2.8/180 one.
Question: Do you believe that between hundreds of the same kind lenses there are singles which are way much above average performance. I believe it. And I think that this Sonnar is better then others.

All Carl Zeiss Jena lenses have various quality, none of them bad or avarage , but some of them brilliant like yours. I have also a brilliant zebra copy and superb copy of Olympic Sonnar. Olympic Sonnar is incredible used one because a superb lens. Mint like new copies rather than average than superb. _________________ -------------------------------
