It can be just a simple case of dirt and grime,do you have the lens?

Yes i have the lens with me.

I bought two of these lens, both a month appart, from different sellers, and both arrived with exactly the same "issue". I wonder if it's due to shipping from Europe to my cold country, Canada? Or is it just frequent with this old Meyer Orestor lens?

I have the same lens and when I look into it,there is an internal element that has what looks like a edge "deteriation".I have not opened this lens up to see what it is. In your images above it looks like its on the front outer element. Its the Zebra 2.8/135 orestor we are talking about?

Yes, it's the Meyer Orestor 135 Zebra.

I opened the front element, cleaned off with micro fiber and lens liquid. All those little dots were all gone. However, the interior elements still have them, and since i didn't open up the whole lens, i can't clean those interior elements.

Now i'm gonna try to clean the rear element.
