Yes, the machine vision lenses focus very close and are very high resolution.

Here's the 6mm on the Q7 after fixing the vignette in the corners:

I saw one of these on Ebay last week listed with a BIN price of $9.50 US. Even though this is a common lens and inexpensive, that low a price made me suspicious as to quality. It was also too low not to take the chance.

It arrived in yesterday's mail. It is in excellent condition. Clean inside and out. Focus and aperture rings move nicely. No problems focusing. I'll consider this one a real bargain.

I bought my Konica Hexanon AR 21mm f2.8 lens, the whole package includes lens, original caps, hood, cases for lens and hood, and a Konica to Sony E adapter, all are in excellent condition for $300. Is it a good deal ( I can see eBay is selling it around $1,000 for lens only)? Smile

These lenses have been going for quite a bit more than $300 in the last few years, often reaching the $500-$600 range. So yes, I think it is a pretty good deal, especially for a NIB lens. The one on Ebay for $1000 keeps popping up every couple of months and has been there for years. The seller is obviously looking for an overexcited and ignorant buyer and as the Polish saying goes, "the chimney sweeper wishes him good luck". Wink

just snagged a nice little bagful off eBay; A yashica FX-D kit, poorly described and poorly photographed. Looked to be a 28, 50 and 135, condition not easy to tell but the camera was in an ERC and the lenses cased so worth a punt. As it turns out these were someone's pride an joy, all had been used but very well cared for tired in a bag along with a flash and a focal guide. The lenses are all ML and the 50 is a 1.4 version too, very nice win at £56 including postage.

Today in the mail I got a Fujinon TV 8mm f1.8.
This is a lens I didn't think id find.
Got it for $28. Alot better deal then the other one thats on the Bay for $380. ☺
It is a rectilinear lens that covers a 1" sensor.
The one on the Bay was modded for M4/3 but with the protruding rear I'm not sure how much sensor clearance you would have.

Congrats on the 8mm, that's a less than common lens.

Sounds good.
I don't think they have those in Hungary.

Not sure if these belong in this forum since they're only adapters, but I picked both of these up for $2 Canadian each a month or so back.

Pretty self-explanatory:

Tamron Adaptall-P/KA mount:

Great deal on the microscope adapter and Adaptall-2 p/kA mount.
I have that Asahi M42 adapter as well, very nice piece. And those P/KA electronic mounts are rare. and pricey.

Not that I plan on selling them, since you never know when you'll need an adapter, but how much are we talking for either of them? I can't seem to find a solid price on them. Razz

I wrote only a couple of times in this forum: I always read to learn as much as i can (thanks) and I don't have much to say...
Tonight I decided to share with you the biggest bargains I got because I made two of them last week, and I think it was a very lucky week!

1st bargain made on april:
Minolta Maxxum 9xi
+ Minolta AF 28mm f/2.8
+ Minolta AF 100-300mm (with some fungus)
+ Minolta AF 85mm f/1.4 (with very little fungus, no visible effects on the IQ)
Price: Euro 90

2nd bargain made last week (everything in near mint condition):
Nikon F-601
+ AF Nikkor 50mm f/1.4
+ AF Nikkor 20mm f/2.8
+ Kiron 28-70mm f/3.5-4.8 MC Macro (does this lens have any value?)
+ Sigma Zoom AF-APO 75-300 f/4.5-5,6
+ MG 0.35x Macro Wide Attachment
+ MG 0.5X Wide Converter Hi-resolution
+ a bunch of filters
+ a reporter bag
Price: Euro 99

3rd bargain made last week (everything in mint condition):
Nikon F with photomic prism s/n 7335376 (and its leather cover)
+ Nikkor-N 24mm f/2.8
+ Nikkor-N 35mm f/1.4
+ Nikkor-H 50mm f/2
+ Flash Nikon Speedlight SB-20
Price: Euro 190
This set in particular is a real beauty (I'd really need the instuctions, do you know if I can find them on the net available for printing?)

Last week I even bought a Canonet qt17 in very good condition for 23 Euro and many Meostigmat arrived from Henry (paid a very nice price, and are wonderful lenses). Definetly a nice week!

Another question: I have a Sony a6000 which I use with all my manual lenses with many adapters, but I never had a nikon lens. Now that I have many, which adapter should I buy? I need two different adapters for the Af Nikkor (to be used obviously manually) and the older MF lenses or I can use the same one?
Thanks!

Cheers

For the Nikon adapter question, if your AF Nikkor lens has an aperture ring, you can use the same adapter as your MF Nikkor.
