Nice one Michael, should clean up great. I found amongst the few remaining remnants of my Canon FD era a very nice 28-50mm f3.5 S.S.C.Macro/CF. so I can compare it to the Tamron. The hood for the Tamron is extremely hard to find as is the front bayonet cap.I have had mine from new c/w all boxes.

Not sure if this can go here because it's no MF stuff

But today I bought:
- nikon D50 with 28-80mm lens
- sony a200 with 18-70 lens
For 45€
I know they are pretty old dslr's but I think the a200 would be fun to use old minolta AF lenses on Cool

Certainly not the "biggest bargain", but a nice find today at a flea market:

Asahi "Pentax S1", Super Takumar 1.4/50mm, Auto Takumar 2.2/55mm and Takumar 3.5/135mm from about 1961 (only the Super-Tak is from 1966) for CHF 25 (= EUR / USD 25)

Another great deal! Great condition too.
I paid that much for the Super Takumar 50 f/1.4 alone! And was considered a good price here in the 'States.

Great find.
Was the 35mm f2.3 also part of the discovery?
If so, then a stupendous find I think

Let's see.....my latest LBA evidence:

I lost out on that Hexanon AR 135 f/3.2.....
but consoled myself with a Hexanon AR 135 f/3.5 AE for $3.50 USD. In perfect condition with rear cap and a UV filter.

A Nippon Kogaku Nikkor-Q 20cm f/4 for $6.50.

Vivitar 35mm f/2.8 by Komine in FD mount, for $9.
Vivitar 105mm f/2.8 T4 by Tokina w/Nikon F mount: $20.
Vivitar 28mm f/2.8 T4 by Tokina w/Miranda mount: $10.

Tokina RMC 28-70mm f/4 zoom: $8.
Not sure why I bought this since I have their AT-X 28-85 f/3.5-4.5, for $6.70.

I was the successful bidder on this outfit over at the Goodwill auction site. I had to pay pretty good money for it -- $126 -- but considering it's an N80 with the almost impossible to find MB-16 extension battery pack, plus the auction includes three AF lenses -- a 50/1.8, 28-80, and 75-300, I think this was a really cheap price to pay for this outfit.

N80 with AF 28-80

The three AF lenses and the nice little Nikon case that's included

I already own an N80 so I bid on this outfit just for the MB-16. Alone they can run from $63 to over $100 on eBay. So, I'll be selling the N80, and both zoom lenses. I'm thinking that I'll keep the AF 50/1.8. I dunno yet.

Well, the Nikon N80 outfit I bought the other day arrived today. Sometimes it's difficult trying to tell what an item's cosmetic condition is over at the Goodwill auction site, so it's always a bit of a gamble. This time it payed off. This outfit looks like it's never been used! Everything works. Each lens comes with front and rear caps and a skylight filter. The camera came with a user's manual. And it all came with a very nice Nikon camera bag. About the only thing that's obviously missing is a body cap for the N80.

This N80's in even nicer shape than the one I've been using, so I'll be keeping this latest purchase and selling the other one. Of the three AF lenses that came with the camera, I've decided I'm gonna go ahead and keep the AF 50/1.8, just so I have an AF normal lens. The other two are eBay bound.

This outfit should be another example of my not having to pay anything for the gear I want to keep and probably even making a little money on the deal.

Thank you guys, it`s the shiny roof on my neighbors garage in the background Very Happy
It was shot wide open with MFT camera (OM-D)

I suddenly found out I didn`t have any adapter from Exakta to E-mount around to mount it to my A7 (it`s on the way)
Last Trioplan auction on ebay went for $600! Wow

The glass is mint condition ond the aperture and focus is smooth. The body have a little of the usual worn and small scratches. I considered to diamond polish the whole body to make it look like brand new, but I think I would let this lens stay as it is.

Cheers
Lars
