Some time ago I was looking for Pentax CCTV lens and didn't find a good supplier and so I looked at other possibilities. It was cheaper to purchase two lenses (Ensinor 24 mm/2.8, 69 GBP and this Wesley one, 50 USD) than order the Pentax one.
This Wesley vignettes badly when stopped down but is ok wide open. Here are samples (wide open, re-sized 25% in IfranView)
Usual brick wall, 200 ISO
Cropped eye, no resizing, 1600 ISO
Intended use for that lens, low light photography of beers (subject matter is quite costly, this one was something like 10 euros).
I got the lens from Ebay, search 24mm CCTV. Camera was Olympus E-PL1. |
