After fixing, how important is it to wash the film at similar temperatures?

I'd be interested in the answer as well.

Per this article, the temp differences need to be large for reticulation effects.

Myself, I'm within a few degrees or so, depending on what comes out of the tap, and haven't had problems so far. But then again, I may be having effects I'm blaming on something else, and just don't know it's in the wash.
