This is the lens (at my Spotmatic):


And this is a test shot at my 350D (my watch, or one of them. I used to collect them.)


A 100% crop, unsharpened, just basic RAW conversion, no pp whatsoever:


I am impressed by this lens!

I am AMAZED at the clarity of the crop for this seldom-mentioned lens! Clean and sharp! Wow.

The Volna looks really fine with the Spotmatic, like it was made to be a part of the camera. A very nice match.

Would love to see more results. Very Happy

It's a great lens, and stands well in my macro collection, which includes some of the best available. I must admit I was sceptical when Orio recommended it, but soon won over in use. It's a real sleeper of a lens

I've heard the lens is wonderful in hard lighting conditions. Thanks to its mc and deep inset front element the thing is practically flare resistant!
