IMHO the Minolta MD 35mm/F2.8 is most probably the best in the F2.8 class. However, if you are looking for a faster lens, then this Voigtländer is most probably best.
Best option is to have both. Wink

BTW, on my A7R II there are no issues like color shift or smearing edges at all; i.e. it performs much better than on A7, A7 II or A7R due to the better BSI-CMOS sensor.
