From the photo this is an SL, not an unannounced SL II so clearly a mistake and the seller is talking rubbish.

Interesting indeed. This is also the first time I see a chipped SL.

If its chipped, its been added after it left the factory.

The only two chipped SL (as of now) are in the SL II series, the 40/2.0 Ultron and the 58/1.4 Nokton.

That's why I said it's my first time to see a chipped SL (not SLII). Too bad, it's in Nikon mount.

The vendor got back to me. This was the first response
