Click here to see on Ebay

One for the zoom fans in the crowd.
Michelle has this lens and loves it. This one is Komine made.

I don't know why but I bought it. I bid the starting amount in the last minute and nobody else bid. I know it is a good one if the description is acurate. Seller did not put in listing that it is "Series 1" or maybe it would finish higher. I don't use zoom so maybe it is a waste of ........? Wink

Russ is the expert on tis lens and will be able to tell you all about it. My understanding is that the Komine version may be the best of several versions of this lens. My own experience of Viv Ser1's is very positive - you may be surprised by the results.

Russ likes the 3rd (Komine) the best followed by the first (Kiron)...I have the Konine version, it's pro quality...

Andy, that lens looks GREAT as far as condition. If you get even MODERATELY decent performance, then the paltry $24.95 Shocked is well worth it. Man, what a good buy!

You know I just put this up here for someone else to find. The price was so cheap and there were no bids with 30secs to go so I grabbed. I already have a copy of this lens . If it comes in and it is good I would give it up to a member for cost. I am not a big zoom user. The copy I have Michelle as taken over as one of her favorites.

That's a generous offer indeed! I have the Tamron SP 70-210, which is seemingly a good performer. But I frankly have more fun with the primes, so I think it's going to "sit it out" a lot.

I know that one well. My zooms are very neglected and lonely. Pretty much just have each other to keep company with. It is a shame because I have some really nice zooms. The only one I really use is the Yashica ml70-210. It is basically my 210 prime.

Yes! I do the same, using my Tamron as a 210 prime. I also have the well-regarded Tamron SP 35-80 zoom, which is not used very much at all. I would rather use the prime Flek 25, Sekor 55, and Jupiter9 85mm lenses.

You know lots of folks make great use of these lenses. It is a shame to have them and not use them. I think I will look closely over the next month and sell the ones I don't use. Now I really realize I should have passed on this one. Sure was a right price though.
