Lovely examples from an excellent lens.
I got a copy last year and I've been very impressed by it, sharp from wide open and produces some nice 'pop' too. It's a heavy beast but it does come with a built-in tripod mount, which helps.
Out of all my Series 1 lenses, this one produces the least CA.
The 1:2 macro comes at 180mm, which is useful when shooting 'nervous' subjects. For 'normal range' shooting I love it, shooting falconry produces superb results. _________________ Gary
