Thank you all. It’s still one of my favourite lenses and without the 1:1 adapter it’s a good choice for butterflies.

Those shots have done nothing to diminish the reputation of that lens!

My copy of this lens is an FD mount which I put a Nex adapter on that I can't get off. Oh well.

100% crop

same spidy different angle at 1 to 2 F8 I think.

I have this lens with the same FD/NEX adapter, which is a pain in a back. The lens is masterpiece, but it need a deep hood, there are some reflections inside the glasses, producing a light spot in the center of the image. The tread is 58 mm.
