Ok, I've had a couple of Nikon mount lenses before and had no issues. One was an Osawa 400mm and another a Nikkor 50mm F1.4 S,C.

No I have a Vivitar (Komine) lens that will not open up wider than F4 when mounted on the camera. The AI pin seems to be causing the issue. Aside from filing the pin down, is there a non-destructive way of fixing this?

I'm not sure why it's happening as I've used Nikon mounts on my 40D without a problem, but it's happening both on the 40D and the 5Dii.

Any ideas?

I have found the issue - Seems I need to get the grinder out to fix this problem.
