these are built like a tank but i sure love my copy. today i found a dragonfly that was immobilized by our cool weather. i slipped a 2x TC on the lens and set up the macro rig. i think i got some pretty good shots.

I have a problem with macro pictures of insects: when they are so good, they just scare me away.

Stunning shots. They make one want to get out and do some macro. Very inspiring work.
