Yes!
I wasn't aware of this camera:

Now if Zeiss makes this camera with a digital sensor, I would buy it instantly.
I can do without the house, who needs a house after all?

Pentax has a 1.7 teleconverter that gives autofocus on a manual lens.
It also possible to use this converter for macro.

In fact the Pentax K10D gives antishake with M42 lenses. The principle is the same, let the sensor do the work.

But you couldn't use it here. This is a MF lens forum, and this negates the MF ability. Sorta like CHEATING. Rolling Eyes

No manual focus forum. Manual focus LENSES forum. Razz

In theory could you tilt shift by moving the sensor at an angle to the lens?

It would be a rather pricey solution for creating a lens baby effect, don't you think?

Gues he means as in the expensive Shift lenses.

You can set buildings strait, ad more dept of field in macro's and things like that.

The same principle as a technical camera.

Shift lenses shift parallel, they don't tilt at an angle.
Tilting a lens - of a film or digital plane - produces blurred areas, the more blurred the farther or closer you go from the register distance.

Yes, the AX really put some AF functionality to MF lenses.
It did by moving the film towards and away from the lens.
So you would have to move the sensor in the same way, different from the sensors in an IS cam.

The cam I find most interesting is: http://www.digitalkamera.de/kameras/Contax/N_Digital.asp

6 MP fullframe sensor and then the lenses for Contax N und Contax 645. Wow!
But this cam was very expensive and is hard to get, and if you still have to pay a lot of money. I've seen offers you get the 5D for!

Not to mention the fact that the Contax N and 645 lenses are much more difficult to find than the Contax lenses, and more expensive.
