Hi!

I've told you that I won't buy any new lens in the next weeks/months (unless they are really cheap!), but some already have been in "deilvery status"...

1) Tamron SP 60-300 (Thanks a lot, Peter!)
2) Kiron 2.0/28

The Tamron arrived today. What a great lens!!! I'm really amazed!
Photos will follow...

Carsten

I'm really pleased you like it and glad to hear it arrived in one piece! I was a little worried about the hood.

Can't wait to see what it can do in your expert hands Carsten!

Congratulation! I suppose both are excellent I don't have yet Kiron, let me know how would you like it. Tamron SP 60-300mm one of my favourite lens.

I've got the Viv 2/28 by Kiron in Nikon mount I haven't tried, still waiting
for the adapter. Be sure to post some pics, Carsten, would like to see
what you think of it! Wink

Hi!

I'm working at the first Tamron shots right now (first impression: Wow!).
As far as the Kiron is concerned, I'll post some pics as soon as I get it.

Well, it's a nice picture of a ... er, ...um, what is it?

The colours are really vivid aren't they - mine is exactly the same. I think this could be a Tamron trademark.

Tell me more about the shot - how far away? What focal length and did you use a tripod? It's difficult to say with a resized picture, but I reckon it might go a little sharper yet Carsten.

It's some kind of decoration in our garden. I often use it to test lenses.
This was shot pretty wide open at 300mm, no tripod.
I'm sure that it can get sharper, it just was a quick shot with a regular (non-focus-confirm) adapter. It is hardly resharpened after resizing. I did not want to destroy the pretty detailed picture. Maybe that's why.

BTW, this is something I realised: My AF-lenses can cope with and need a stronger resharpen action than my MF-lenses. Have you also realised that?

Kiron 2/28 arrived today! My fastest 28mm!

Almost mint condition! Great built, very nice pictures! Proof will follow... Wink
