Thanks Casper
I have tried all of the Petri 55mm lenses and I like every one them.
I suppose a comparison might be useful at some point.

I don't know for sure, but I cannot see why Petri themselves did not make it.
There was an outsourced late Petri in M42 mount that follows the Petri bayonet lenses, that was made elsewhere if I recall correctly
Tom
Here are the Petri standard lenses that I have in Petri bayonet.
The first is a Kuribyashi 50mm f2 - all the others are 55mm

Your copy of the 50mm F/2 lens is slightly unusual. The earliest versions had a differently machined mount, as per the below picture you can see the mount is slotted for some of the length. Later batches dispensed with that, and it wasn't used again on Petri mount lenses to my knowledge.
There were actually several different batches of the Petri mount 50mm F/2, the earliest still had the 'Orikkor' marking, this was gone possibly by the second batch, thereafter just labelled Kuribayashi Petri. The 'Kuribayashi' and the silver filter ring outer survived until the early batches of the 55mm F/2 lens and then was gone too.
