Is this lens modded or is the aperture actually like this, because I can't find any info about this "three blade" version

There are also Helios-44 lenses out there with triangular aperture (and other shapes as well). That being said, I prefer to use lenses which have a triangular/square/star-shaped aperture in their original state overall, because the resulting shapes often look a little bit better. It might also depend on the quality of the mod though...
