This might be a little too modern for some, but you'd be surprised at how inconsistent the documentation of these lenses can be, such as the resolution of the diagrams (or if they even have them at all). So it's useful to have.
At any rate we get a quality .svg of the popular 600mm f8, and some of the fisheyes which also date back to the 90s.
I already looked on Tamron/Minolta's website to see if they had any similar old .pdfs with lens diagrams in them, and couldn't find anything on wayback machine.
There are a couple of line errors (see 600mm f8 last element) but don't think it's an artifact of Inkscape, which can handle the .svg files with no trouble/errors. Some diagrams like the f1.8 fast wide primes have extra lines but they were visible in the .pdf brochure. |
