Hello, I am looking for primes in 28-35mm range. Mount, manufacturer, coverage do not matter. I need a 28-35 mm lens for a very specific applciation where the front cannot move whiel focusing and only a rear group or internal group can move.

Would appreciate any advice!

The lens from an Olympus XA 35mm 2.8 transplanted and adapted to the appropriate mount.

Thanks, it's a good idea, but on digital sensors the steep angled rays would be a problem.

I found out Nikon 35 1.8 dx and a few others are rear-docusing. They are very modern lenses tough, so I'm wondering if any of the older nikons are rear focusing too.

Take a look at the Samyang 35mm f/1.4 AS UMC, which is a modern IF lens:

Minolta / Sony AF 1.4/35mm (rear focusing).
Minolta AF 4-4.5/28-135mm would also have rear focusing, but is not a prime.
Minolta AF 2.8/24mm also has rear focusing.
