I promised I would report about this lens I bought recently.
Least I can say is that I am amazed.
Here at 35mm around f5,6 on Sony A7II.

I guess when you make a lens with a limited zoom range it better be good at the range it does. No compromises because at the cost if iq due to stretching the optical capabilities of the glass. _________________ pentaxian |

Good lens too.
That looks like an architecturally very photogenic spot in Paris, the Tours de la Défense... _________________ Mark

Good shot!
I have this lens and have found it to be nice.
I also bought the Canon 2.8 35-70mm, but unfortunately it was broken.
Now with high custom charges for items outside the EU here in Hungary
I haven't been buying any lenses. That's OK, I have enough, but I was curious
about the 35-70mm. |

I do not have the big 35-70 but the flimsy F4 version is excellent when it does not wobble. _________________ Lumens Pixel

28-50 mm - that's another lens
#1
And i agree that it is an excellent but rather bulky lens
