Title is fairly explanatory. I have a Canon FD 35mm 2.8 tilt shift with a slightly bent shift screw. It seems like the shift mechanism is pretty easy to take apart, would it be possible to source a replacement screw, or to straighten the existing screw? It is only slightly bent, a cat accident cause it to drop onto a carpeted floor, the only damage was a slight bent screw. It's a bit annoying, because the lens is in perfectly good condition otherwise.

thanks

If the problem is only cosmetic, and doesn't affect operation, I would leave it as is.

Bending screws back and forth usually doesn't end well, especially if the screw is aluminium or brass which work-harden; it deforms the thread. If the amount of bending is very marginal, you might take the risk (but it is still a risk, especially with precision-machined threads).
