I was recently fortunate enough to find a 65mm and a 12cm Macro Nikkor lens for sale along with the adapter for Nikon Bayonet. Surprised not to find any examples of them on here (unless I've missed them).

Sample picture from one of the flowers from a bunch in the house using the 65mm on about 40mm extension. Taken in natural light in the room on an Eos 5DSR and cropped roughly square. Reduced in size for sharing.

This is a crop from original, at original resolution.

Very happy with them so far, but I need a sturdier tripod, and really should have got the flashes out....

Still very nice images anyways!

Kind of curious about how the colors would come up off of a Nikon sensor.
The 3 canon p&s micro sensors I have here are slightly cold compared to their cool-pix counter-part.
Just wondering if this difference extends to DSLR's...

Thanks All. The links are great, some I had seen, but not all, and it's very useful having them in one place. There's also a good one Enrico Savazzi's site - http://www.savazzi.net/photography/macronikkors.htm

Doc, there certainly was a difference in spectral response between the Canon and Nikon cameras I've looked at. The Nikons had more of a contribution from the red channel even when down in the 400-500nm region, which could be a reason for the overall 'warmer' tone. How this spectral sensitivity it impacted by the white balance, I'm not sure though.

CONGRATULATIONS Jonathan,

super fine lenses those are, esp. the 65mm one! Thought I had posted about them (I have the full set)- hmmm.

The are listed on my macrolenses site with data and pics: http://www.macrolenses.de/objektive.php?lang

120mm: http://www.macrolenses.de/ml_detail.php?ObjektiveNr=28

65mm: http://www.macrolenses.de/ml_detail.php?ObjektiveNr=31

But my friend Akiyama-San has a bit info about them here:

Thanks Klaus. Yes, good timing this time, I managed to find these two for sale in the UK. He didn't have the 35mm and 19mm as far as I know, but these two should be the most useful ones for every day use.

I did a quick search but couldn't find anything on here about them. I could have missed it though.
