I got into the lenses of my 1935 Voigtlander BESSA 66 and found the definition was worse than when it was 'hazy' so i have been checking again - I unscrewed the rear element once more -- it was seated correctly. With a small ground glass in film Plane the focus distances all seemed to check. i loaded a cut 120 outdated Konica Centuria 400 from my Deceased Friend's huge Film Stash his sons gave me and downrated it to 160 ASA then home-processed in C41 . The 'VOIGTAR ' 75mm f3.5 lens was used at around f6.3 for most shots.
