Here are some photos I made during a walk this morning with GOI Uran-27 100mm/2.5 on Sony A7, all shots wide open.
This is not only a prototype exemplar, but also a reference exemplar (etalon) for the production.
Note it has normal/natural colors, far away from the blue coloration of the production Uran-27.

What an interesting copy of the lens. The Uran-27 is quickly becoming one of my favorite all time lenses. It is a hidden gem. The bokeh this lens is capable of producing is in a class of it's own as far as my lenses. Plus the ability to use the aperture and keep the bokeh at the same time is a big plus. Not to mention it is sharp from edge to edge for me.
Thanks for sharing.

Yes, I have the regular version of Uran-10, it also has natural colors like the Uran-27 prototype.
You can see the Uran-10 on the left, on the right is prototype of Uran-27
And here Uran-27 prototype on the left, and regular Uran-27 on the right.
Here are some sample made with Uran-10 on Sony A7.

Probably, I bought it a few years ago on Ebay.
Edit: I've been following this forum and you for a while, you are the inspiration that I got my Helios 200mm 2.5 and it an awesome heavy beast that led me to a journey of modification and it took a lot. |
