Hello everyone,

I recently bought an Edixa Mat Reflex D with an Edixa Xenar 50mm f/2.8 lens (Schneider - Kreuznash).

The rear element was dirty with fungus and I dismantled it and cleaned it. It is now ok, but 2 little balls felt and I didn't see where they came from. Now, I noticed that the focus is stuck, it was ok when I received it.

I'm looking for a tutorial on how to dismantle this lens or an old paper showing the different internal parts, but I'm pretty sure it is very difficult to find.

I really like the rendering and the quality of this lens, it would be sad not to fix it.

Thanks alot for any help.

Should be a nice lens optically, but unfortunately I have no docs how to open it or how it looks inside.

That guys here did it, but a different lens, but in principle it would be similar: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OAOBv0DwRUg

Hello there,

Thanks for the follow up. I tried and unfortunately, the aperture mechanism was damaged by humidity probably due to bad storing conditions for many many years.

I sold it "for parts".

Thanks for the YouTube link. I also want to fix my old lens and it is rare. Because of this, I don't want to take any risk while repairing it. That is the reason before started repairing my lens and I want to do a lot of research. I am a college student and I can't concentrate on it very well because of my professor who gave me a lot of assignments. I hate to write essay assignments but my professor doesn't know that I have found the https://www.topessaywriting.org/samples/daca link through which I always take help when it comes to writing essay assignments. Now, I am all free and after watching that YouTube link, I will start repairing my lens. I hope I won't destroy it while repairing it.
