I don't like this camera , made by Yashica, exterior looks garbage. I expect lot more from a Contax camera.

Really you don't like it? It's Porsche design.
It was much praised at the time, and I think that the Porsche design has an influence on the relatively high prices that this and the
following Contax cameras still fetch on the used market today when compared to the other big film cameras of the time
such as Canon's and Nikon's. In fact we can say that they're not just used cameras, but also industrial design objects from the 80s and 90s.

Yes, from 35mm SLR cameras I like Nikon really, rest of it just okay.

Very nice results Attila. Your film developing level has got to the point that it is fantastic. Like a "really good" pro-lab would do.

It was stored in swamp Twisted Evil okay to keep for test lenses, it is looking very ugly , I not expect any selling value , better to keep it.

Attila, these are REALLY nice images. Love the blue sky rendered by the Provia.

I actually LOVE my Contax AX. To me, it is a beautiful piece of machinery, and solid in its functional
beauty. Like Orio said, it's really a sort of icon to all that is beautiful in cameras of the era. I've grown
so fond of my AX that it's always in the car with me in a special case with dessicating tablets to keep
the moisture away.

I also have the Yashica ML 24, bought from reblyell, who is a very fair man to deal with, and I consider
him a friend even though we've never met.

I am rather shocked that you don't like the styles of these later Contax cameras! Shocked They are like
a curvaceous woman who is also strong and proud. When I first got it, I put it on my night stand by my
bed so that I could see it first thing in the morning. I don't do that any more, but just don't tell anyone,
okay? Embarassed

You DON'T like the looks of this? Shocked Laughing

I am late to these photos of yours, I just purchased this lens and I am using it on my varius Contax cameras and my Yashica FD-X. I read a lot of mixed reviews but your images are wonderful. I could never justify buying the Distagon 25mm. I posted a photo tonight on another person's posting
