I used mine last weekend, some really good images, sharp. On landscapes the curvature isn't as noticable - if you keep the horizon in the middle. _________________ Hero in the 'messin-with-cameras-for-the-hell-of-it department'. Official. |

I love ultra wides, but have never learned to love the fisheye type due to the distortion, but now I see what you have done with this lens, I am convinced I should get one and try to learn to use it properly, just fantastic photos, cheers! _________________ I don't care who designed it, who made it or what country it comes from - I just enjoy using it! |

Quite a remarkable little lens. I take it that these pics were shot with a crop-sensor camera, yes? Years ago, I owned a Minolta 16mm lens that took photos that resembled this with an old SRT-101 I had. I also owned a Canon 7.5/5.6 for a while and that focal length provided circular images with 35mm Canons. I'm assuming that this 7.5 will do the same if used with an FF digital.
At any rate, I'm impressed by these images. Very nice. _________________ Michael

Exactly my feeling too! These are great shots and you make a convincing case for this lens. _________________

Yes, lens is designed for crop-body mirrorless. |

The FOV on FF is slightly wider than 180⁰, e.g. it looks behind a bit.
Strong colour shift towards the extreme edge.
