Excellent results.
You have brought out the best in this lens, and that takes understanding and skill.
Well done

Well, I guess I have overlooed this lens that I have for many years sitting around, a simple triplett btw.

Prime example of not judging the lens on it's speed.
Lovely series.

Is this lens exactly the same or mostly the same as Domiplan?

Thank you! Thank You Dog
Not sure if it is the same as the Domiplan.
I don't have that lens. Someone here should know.

I like to see that lens at F/11 and F/16.

It rendering like the voigtlander skopar 2,8/50.

Cool balance with the charasteristic yellow vanilla.

Thanks.

Classic german triplet/tessar rendering.

I have seen some old german triplets/tessar lenses with the same or very similar character.

I never thought that your lens should be so good. I never used it.

Enjoy

Very well balanced rendering and great colours, congrats!

Thanks!
I shot these with a Canon T3 camera, probably with landscape color mode.
Now I am shooting with a Fujifilm X-E1, because it was difficult to focus with the small
optical finder of the Canon.
I should take that lens out with the Fuji.

I can attest the X-E1 and the 2.9 Meritar are a good match, uddhava.

I've never had a Ludwig lens. Those seem very nice. The T3 is an aps-c sensor, correct? Triplets can perform quite well, if you take into account their limitations. . I have some Schneider Radionar from folders that are quite good. The legendary Meyer Trioplan is reasonably sharp if stopped down a bit.

Yes, it is an aps-c sensor.
I have the Trioplan 2.9 50mm also. Both lenses are with Exakta mounts.
