I have been using a Schneider Super Cinelux 80/2 and a Sony A7ii in Northern India. The lens is sharp corner to corner wide open, with lovely renditions of color and background blur. It is obvious that the background blur can add a lot to these photos, and so I am now very cognizant about what is behind my subject, and how the two elements interplay with one another. The first image is of a friend followed by neighborhood children.

For me, the bokeh on #1 and #4 is lovely. #2 and #3 I'm finding distracting. |
