The 9x12 film holders are made of strong mechanical plastic, which also has the property of repelling dust. The frame for film with rails is made of parts of three such holders. Rails allow the frame to slide over the macro bellows for focus. The glowing monitor screen is used to illuminate negatives and slides in the frame. Of course, you need to set the color profile of the monitor and also adjust its brightness and contrast. In my case NEC LCD 2490wuxi2.
