Went to our famous Hermannshof park just opposite my house with my older KMZ Apo-Telezenitar 2.8/135mm lens, the one with Estonian Fluorophosphate glass they had invented in the 90s. It was only produced for few years, replaced by some Russian glass after 1992.
Here some shots taken with my GH4 with that pre 1992 lens (wide open) using a M42 helicoid instead of adapter to get better close focus:

Very nice Klaus.
It seems to be a warm rendering lens.

Excellent!!!!
The last, my fav.
Mine does not have the Estonian glass (it was made in 1993) but has TK-14 one.
Recalculated (for economy, for sure) formula, but IT's very good too. |

Thanks guys!
I wanted warm autumn colors, so I used a warmer whitebalance setting
That later lens with TK-14 glass is very sharp, I have that version too, might
be even sharper!!
PS: for comparison here is my other lens in action:

Sorry, all the pictures you've shown here look flat. You don't feel the depth of space - just a blurry background. |

Those photos look soft with no fine details, is the lens really that bad or is it something to do with the image processing between camera and web page? _________________ I don't care who designed it, who made it or what country it comes from - I just enjoy using it! |
