The lens was part of a security video surveillance system in the former USSR. The optics were in excellent condition. Clean glass outside, inside, no scratches. After cleaning the lens with alcohol, the diaphragm drive lever is removed. The focusing screw is cleaned and also removed. Jupiter-9 is inserted into the body of the VEGA-12 lens, fixed. The body shank with M42x1 thread was made and installed in its place. Using the adapter, the lens is mounted on a Sony SLR camera. The lens is ready to work. There are also cosmetic problems-painting, gluing the aperture scale, and much more. Please, see the images of the transformation stages.
