Unfortunately, because – as I suppose, the lens had been developed for the Security & Surveillance Cameras (however it has M42 mount, and is very well suited for the M42 screw FF photo cameras), it lacks any filter mount thread. Even worst – it lacks any provision for the lens hood. And because the front lens isn’t protected from the back light in any way, it suffers from the flare in the harsh conditions.
So, I decided to upgrade the construction. After some measurements, I decided to sacrifice the old green filter. I took out of it the glass, and brought it to the local blacksmith, that he would drill four holes in its casing , and put in four screws. So, now I have the permanently fixed nozzle with the 49MM thread, which allows to use upon the lens any standard filter, or the hood. And which also already serves itself as the moderate hood for the front lens.
It is fixed to the helicoids for the operating of the lens opening. It partly half covers the diaphragm numbers, but it is able to be recognized and used easily. And even more conveniently then before.
The lens also lacks Depth of Field scale, but I copied it from the other 35mm lens, for the practical values of 5.6, 8.0, and 11.0, using the black marker.
So, how it all looks at the present time:
