I put the story how I got the VITO CLR in the 'Equipment' section. the Selenium Meter is still accurate! The 50mm f2.8 'Lanthar' lens is sharp at close range as tested here in the Garden . FILM was some outdated Fuji Press 800 i have been given and lost only one stop so rated at 400 ASA and home-processed in C41. Aperture was f8.

FLASH TEST at 1/250 using a Metz 45 CL-1 at f8 set to 400 ASA

The lens is very sharp indeed. Just as I remember it from the pictures taken by a collegemate with a Vito CLR fifty years ago. Black and white with this camera would be striking.

Like 1 Like 1 Nice photographs! Although I think results with slower film would be sharper. Smile
