No, it's not multicoated to my knowledge, only the RE GN 50/1.4 is with the red M.
It's possible the other lenses have more than one layer, the Navy lenses with the N are likely candidates, I don't own any to compare, I suppose it's also possible they chose not to make a fuss over what ever coating they did do till the RE GN 50/1.4, kind of like the Super Takumars had more than one coating but didn't advertise it till they moved to their 7(?) layer Super Multi Coating.
I honestly can't see them not doing Multi coating earlier, when many other companies had it, they were a very resourceful optical company. _________________ A Manual Focus Junky...

By any chance, do you know how many copies were made; at least relative to the faster version?
