Looks like a TX mount without an adapter.

It's a Vivitar or Soligor that uses the TX Interchangable mount system. T he lens in the picture has no mount, it needs one of these -
It's not a common mount system, but it isn't a bad one. I have three Vivitar and one Soligor lenses and they all seem to be rebranded Tokina lenses. I also have a few spare mounts. _________________ LENSES & CAMERAS FOR SALE.....

Some of the Vivitar TX lenses are really quite nice. I've had my 90-230mm since the '70's and hang on to it simply because it's the only lens I've got in that range with a built-in tripod mount
There is a "knack" to fitting the mount to the lens ... best find a copy of the user leaflet online so's you don't struggle with it
Enjoy! |

I believe it is T4, not Tx, since for Tx mount, usually you will see Tx on the lens rear. I also heard T4 mount adapters can be used on Tx lenses, not vice versa. So it is safe to get a T4 adapter. Or more realistically, get another T4 lens with the adapter and use it.
