This set is for those who don't believe an ultra wide angle lens has been used unless some extreme distortion is captured. I didn't think extreme treatment suited this subject but it is a step in that direction.

I have done nothing to correct any flare and the images are uncropped, except where specified.

I actually knelt down close to the windmill for these. I used f11; others were at f16.

From the same session but at f16. More deliberate distortion.

I thought the bottom corners were showing strong vignetting but that is shadowing from hedges just out of frame.

During processing the brickwork did, at times, show patterns in the brickwork from the lack of an aliasing filter in the camera.

I've just realised that I have tilted my wife at 45 degrees without her noticing. Laugh 1
