The lens has a very subtle "planar-like" rendering and quite a 3D capacity. It was interesting to compare with Auto-Takumar of the same FL and speed. Takumar gives very crisp images, but they are flater. While Canon seems to render more volume.

Thank you for the comment and observation. I have the Super Takumar 3.5 35mm, but have hardly used it yet.
After seeing your photos I will have to try it out.
