I wonder why Schneider refers here to the 'Taylor type' and 'modified Taylor type', when the patent on the Tessar had run out by 1919. The drawings indicate the lenses are coated, so the advert is post-war. Perhaps, having not been there, they genuinely thought the Tessar design was derived from the Cooke triplet?

Ideas?
