Just out of curiosity....

What's that lens ?

It seems to be the first Nikon model of a 500mm F8 mirror lens, which was released in 1968. You can check it here:

Why not?

I used my mirror lenses handheld on film & still do on digital unless the crop factor makes the FOV too small. 900mm equivalent is practical, I generally need support for longer but have managed a 1000mm scope on MFT with it just tucked under my arm.

Maybe somebody knows those body settings can tell us shutter speed?

1/500 if my eyes don't trick me and the ASA knob on this FTn finder is indeed set in the way that the position between 100 and 200 is pointing back

Why not? If you can get shutter speed to 1/500 it'll be fine.

Sigma 600mm f/8 -- Canon F-1, Kodachrome 64 shot at EI 80. Hand held, of course.
