This is the 12-blade version in M42 mount. According to a list of serial numbers I saw, it's from around 1958.
I am awaiting for a 17-blade, black one in Exakta mount to be delivered.

I don't think that the number of blades making the picture, it's the fine Zeiss BIOTAR lens design from 1936!


Furthermore, it's you who has done an excellent portrait with an beauty model! Like 1

I am using the 2/58mm lens on my A6500/A6000 with an helicoid adaptor, which offers me close-up's, or macro possibilities!
