Searching info about Schneider lenses I fell on a curiousity placed in this page.

I wonder how someone decided to "translate" German Kreuznach into a Japanese Konishiroku for a page in Russian? Shocked

Yeah, everything else on the page http://lens-club.ru/lenses/item/c_3217.html says Schneider Kreuznach, so that is an odd error.
I bet it's a nice Planer/Biotar lens.

Making a side step from curious "translations" towards optical design curiosities. I found the following scheme made by a forum member for practical reasons

and it looks just like a purely artistic act, out of context. The surface always represented as even, transparent and smooth is rough and "hairy" here. A wonderful constrast.

The source page is here.
