A quick search on google reveals that the lens was made by MOM in Hungary; it seems to be related to the Sowjet Jupiter 9 which in turn is based on the German Zeiss Sonnar 2/85mm.

Spiral checked the lens should be a 6e/4g Gauss type. It is not difficult to check by looking at the reflections at the rear with the aperture closed.

Without checking the lens, I would guess the lens is a double gauss than a sonnar: the size of rear element looks close to the size of front element. For a sonnar type 85/2.0 lens, the rear element will be much smaller compare to the front element.

Yes. The best is to check it by opening the lens. I think Spiral is very capable to identify a lens structure as he is well known in the manual lens community. Wink

Since we have the sample photos, I can double check my previous assumption without the help from Spiral. The photos with tress shows the swirly bokeh which is much more common on double gauss than sonnar. So, the lens Spiral owns should be a double gauss.

To investigate further, let us check the link on twitter showing a different design of the Telor 85/2? This may be an early version/prototype? I can't verify this so I will leave it to someone more capable.

I've recently purchased a MOM 100mm f2 with a Hasselblad mount (haven't received it yet). I'm quite excited about it.

Does anyone know if any of the versions of this lens cover 6x6 and can be easily adapted to a suitable mount? They're all adapted to M39/M42 from the original industrial purpose?
