There certainly is some truth to that but I'll openly admit that I'm not completely indifferent when it comes to sharpness.

Thank you! No, just a small LED light with barn doors. Pretty minimalistic setup. The hardest part is getting the angle of the golden cup (it's actually an ISCO cine projection lens, because why not? Wink ) in the background right...
