Here it is, Revuenon Zoom 35-105mm 3.8. I did not find much of info online and no dedicated post here on the forum. So filling in the gap, here are some shots taken with it on Nex-5N.

First of all, the lens itself, quite heavy and strudy.

#1 At 35mm, even at f5.6 and APS-C the corners are not that good. Even though the general impression is not that bad

#2 At 105mm, f3.8 (and even at f5.6) the lens "glows". But it also transmits some mood that feels pleasant

#3 Converting the shot into BW creates a special cameral effect

#4 At 75mm f8

#5 The "macro" regime with a dedicated switch pushed on: at f3.8, as well as at f5.6 remains soooft and with quite pronounced CA. But once again could be used as a mood lens

Just by the looks and styling alone of that lens, it appears as some kind of competitor to the Minolta 35-70 3.5 Macro. With a longer reach and insignificant light loss, not sure the era, but I could see how someone would cross shop it at a camera store.

It looks very like the Vivitar TX 35-105mm f3.5 close focusing zoom. Has it a 72mm filter thread? If so, it could well be another rebranded Tokina lens.

DigiChromeEd, the filter thread is 67mm. Does it speak against Tokina hypothesis?

Blazer0ne, I'd say it is bulkier and havier than Minolta 35-70, so maybe even in twilight of a drift shop that would put you in doubt!
