Thanks everyone. This lens is only special to me because I read about it here first!

Thought it deserved some exposure stopped down and from afar, in addition to the superb sample photos already on MFLenses.

Now, that's a fantasy and surely over my budget. That shade would need to be lost with amnesia not knowing its true owner for $50 OBO.

In the meantime, it would be less expensive to hire a grip to follow me around with an umbrella.

In truth those bayonet hood retainer springs become very loose with use and need to have additional security as not to fall off. I have resorted to double sided tape on the other Topcor shades. They make me nervous, so I usually switch to a rubber hood when taking to the field.
