Asking for a friend, seems like unopenable block? No threads, slots, screws etc.

Never opened that one before, but in some Hexanons you need to unscrew the front ring (where it says Konica Hexanon AR etc). Counterclockwise. I use a bathtub plug to have enough friction.

did that, but the optical block is still solid, need to get between groups to remove fungus

Once separated elements are not so easy to put back together - matching the glue for optical properties; alignment...

Glues used may separate with heat (Canadian balsam), gentle as glass heated too quickly breaks from thermal stress, or solvent specific to glue used, or UV cement-specific solvent, UV light or solvent. There us plenty of info here at mflenses.com!
